Risk Analyst
- POSITION:
Full-time Analyst, reporting to Managing Director and Vice Presidents
- QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have 2 -3 years' experience in the financial services industry. Candidates should have strong analytical, writing, research, and computer/database skills, coupled with impressive academic credentials. The analyst will have a great opportunity to learn the investment banking business and participate in institutional private placements and merger & acquisition transactions. Assignments may involve marketing, quantitative analysis, and research projects. Undergraduate degree in finance or economics. This position offers significant opportunity for advancement.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Managing Director and Vice Presidents in: (a) research of industries, markets and businesses of clients and prospective clients, (b) preparation of presentations to clients and prospective clients, (c) preliminary financial analysis of clients businesses and acquisition targets, (d) preparation of valuations of businesses, (e) performance of due diligence on clients and acquisition candidates, and, (f) execution of transactions. Supervise analysts on certain projects.
